Batting

We keep our favorite battings in stock and ready to use in the studio. If you’re looking for a specific type we don’t currently carry, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help source what you need for your project.


Batting is sold by the yard, and we return any leftover batting and backing strips with your quilt.


Prefer to send your own batting? No problem! Just be sure it’s at least 4 inches larger on all sides than your quilt top.


To estimate batting costs, simply add 4" to the width of your quilt. We round to the nearest 1/8 or 1/4 yard for accuracy and minimal waste.

We carry Hobbs Tuscany and Quilters Select in King sized pre-cut bags as well for larger quilts.

Threads

We have every color of the rainbow available to help give your beautiful work that finishing touch! Whether you want something that blends in, or a bold color that pops, we're experts in thread and will work with you to find the perfect one. When you give us the information about your project, please let us know what fiber, sheen, color or thickness you're looking for, and we will pick our best matches to show you on the top before we get quilting.

The price of thread is built into our 0.025¢/inch quilting fee, and feel free to request a different color on the front and back.

Edge-to-Edge Patterns

We also longarm plain yardage for bags, garments, and other creative projects — and we’d love to help bring your ideas to life. 

We carry a wide selection of ByAnnie hardware, patterns, and Soft & Stable. If you’d like your fabric pre-quilted for a bag project, please reach out before placing your order.

Finishing your Quilt

Once quilting is complete, we will trim your quilt 1/4" outside the edge of the quilt top and return any leftover batting and backing to you.

Prefer to leave it untrimmed or have special trimming instructions? Just let us know in the notes section below — we're happy to accommodate!

If you'd like us to machine-bind your quilt, we offer that service as well. Please indicate your preference when submitting your quilt.

We'll respond within 1-2 business days, and keep in touch while we get the process started. Our fee is currently 0.025 cents per square inch for all patterns, there is no additional fee for thread, and our minimum is $50.
